Mini Grants

The DiscoverU 2022 Mini Grants are open for submissions!


Road Map Project region CBOs, educators, students and public sector partners: Apply for funds to implement virtual and in-person college and career related activities for children and youth on DiscoverU Week October 10-14!

DiscoverU is an exciting week for us to come together and support students in exploring career and college options. Community Center for Education Results is awarding $10,000 in mini grants to better support educators, youth-serving organization, and students in furthering college-going culture and career excitement with students.

Eligibility

Must be a classroom educator, student, CBO, or public sector partner in the Road Map Project region (Auburn, Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, South Seattle, and Tukwila)

Award Amounts and Guidelines

Awards will be up to $599 depending on your activity/program/event. Create a project to promote college-going culture in your classroom, school, program, or community for at least one theme day.

  • Art supplies
  • Reading materials
  • Prizes
  • Guest speaker stipends
  • And more! Get creative.

Application and Award Timeline

Applications for a Mini Grant must be submitted to the Community Center for Education Results by midnight Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022. We hope to notify applicants of award decisions by Friday, Sept. 30, 2022.
